I'm Will. Founder and operator based in Pittsburgh. Co-founder and CEO of MarketMatch Technologies — pricing and inventory intelligence for dealerships across the greater Pittsburgh area. We're a Cox Automotive partner, run AI models that price 24,000+ vehicles a month, and the larger accounts sit on multi-six-figure annual contracts. East-coast expansion is underway.
Outside MarketMatch I help allocate on Yashar Investments — the family book, private and public, compounding quietly for decades. I keep a personal trading sleeve on the public side and serve as Chief Investment Officer of the Duquesne Asset Management Group, leading research for the university's $2.5M Student Managed Investment Fund. NVDA and TSM were the calls that took us to first place last year.
Before MarketMatch I founded 3D4U Printing in high school — a Bay Area 3D printing company servicing FIRST Robotics teams and local businesses. During COVID we pivoted the floor and donated 119 PPE face shields to Kaiser Permanente and Rose Meadows Elder Care. The Harker Aquila ran a piece on it. The lesson — that you can repurpose a small operation fast if you actually own the supply chain — has stayed with me.
The internships filled in the rest. At Module I designed 3D models and shot drone cinematography that drove an 80% lift in LinkedIn engagement. At Neptec Optical Solutions I rebuilt the site on Shopify and built the forecasting models leadership used for risk reviews. Trade Technologies taught me how to expand distribution channels and walk a CES floor without getting hustled.
I'm fastest when the problem is unreasonable, the timeline is shorter than it should be, and someone tells me it can't be done. I'd rather ship the unsexy 80% than write a deck about the interesting 20%. When I'm off the screen I fly FPV drones (Multi-GP chapter officer; building and racing since 2018), lift heavy in old-school gyms, and volunteer at Rose Meadows Elder Care doing tax prep, accounting, and tech help.

What I think about, on loop.
/ 01
AI & Automation
Practical agents that move money, ship code, and give time back. Less hype, more uptime.
/ 02
Markets
A trading book run with discipline. Risk before P&L. Position before opinion.
/ 03
FPV Drones
Hand-built rigs and cinematic flying. Multi-GP chapter officer. Steady hands, low ego.
/ 04
Quiet strength
Compound lifts and unscheduled hours. The body is the substrate everything else runs on.
Lines I run things by.
"Discipline equals freedom."
— Jocko
"First, do the work. Then, ask for the room."
— Operator's rule
"Everything you've ever wanted is on the other side of the boring 80%."
— Internal monologue
