Project Intern / Module
ModuleMosby
At Module, I helped convert architectural files into presentation-ready 3D model assets for the Mosby project and documented the factory through drone and video work.
My work included Rhino/STL cleanup, 3D-print slicer preparation, physical model support, supplier coordination, factory media capture, and a short marketing film for the team.

Project overview
From architecture files to a physical presentation model.
Module needed a physical way to explain Mosby, a modular multifamily project in Richmond. I helped prepare the 3D model workflow, support the final presentation model, and create media that showed how the factory process worked.
Typology
Modular multifamily housing
Scope
3D model, drone, factory media
Inputs
Rhino, STL, DWG, PDFs, site files
Output
Conference model + marketing video

What I worked on
3D modeling, factory media, and project coordination.
The internship combined hands-on production work with marketing support. I cleaned and prepared files, helped with the physical model, captured factory footage, and coordinated details across design, suppliers, and the marketing team.
01 / 3D model prep
Prepared architecture files for a physical model.
Converted Module's SketchUp, DWG, Rhino, STL, elevation, and site files into cleaner model assets that could be printed, reviewed, and used in presentations.
02 / Fabrication support
Helped make the model presentation ready.
Worked through slicer settings, removable roof logic, material tests, and print constraints so the Mosby model was understandable on a conference table, not just on screen.
03 / Factory media
Captured factory footage around the project.
Supported drone footage, factory video, Matterport capture, and supplier coordination with the marketing and design teams so Module had usable photo and video assets for partners, clients, and social posts.

Will's expertise in transforming digital models into tangible reality brought new life to our project.
Module's VP of Design & Operations specifically noted the problem-solving, collaboration, and speed behind the final model. The finished work helped turn technical project files into a physical presentation tool for events, stakeholders, and marketing.
