Slow money, patient capital, no chasing. The book has been compounding for decades through a few different cycles. Decisions are made by committee; sizing is conservative; the goal is fewer bigger right answers, not more small ones.
What I do
Quiet research, occasional position-building on the public side, and helping evaluate private opportunities when they come in through the family network. I bring the technical lens — what a company is actually doing under the hood — and stay out of the way otherwise.
