Nerf Modifications

8th grade. I started taking apart Nerf guns, swapping springs, opening up the air restrictors, repainting shells, and rebuilding them better than they came. The hobby is the thread that runs through everything else — the same impulse that turned into 3D4U, then the manufacturing line at Trade Tech, then FPV drones. Once you've taken something apart and put it back together stronger, you don't see consumer products the same way again.

What I learned

How to be unafraid of the inside of a thing. How a stock product is almost always under-engineered for cost, not for performance. How a small hand tweak can double the output. The same lesson shows up in every business I've built since.
