MarketMatch Technologies
MarketMatch is the operating layer for how dealerships find and price inventory. We scaled from 1 to 8 dealership clients across the greater Pittsburgh area on multi-six-figure annual contracts, signed a licensing partnership with Cox Automotive, and run AI models + data pipelines that price 24,000+ vehicles every month across the eastern seaboard. Built and led from Reno and Pittsburgh by a 3-person team I recruited.
Role
Co-Founder & CEO. Sold the first eight pilots, wrote the first version of the pricing engine, recruited the team, and run the cap table.

The thesis
Used-car retail is a high-velocity, low-margin business where the difference between a great month and a bad one is the pricing decision in the first 48 hours of inventory. Most dealers make those calls on instinct or with software that hasn't meaningfully changed in fifteen years. We built better.

What we shipped
A real-time pricing engine ingesting every comparable listing in a market, weighted by recency, dealer proximity, and trim alignment. Layered on top: an inventory-velocity model that tells managers which units are dead and which to lean into. Cox Automotive licensing partnership feeds proprietary data into the engine.

Operations
Recruited and led a 3-person team. Drove product development from concept through iterative sprint cycles. Advised Martin (YC S23) on treasury management — placement of venture capital into commercial paper and short-term instruments aligned with operational cash flow timelines.

Next
East coast expansion. Moving from pricing into the full lifecycle — acquisition, recon, merchandising, and disposition. Quietly building the version of this product that doesn't exist yet but obviously should.
